Your rate depends on how many customers you bring, not on the size of your audience. It applies to every payment of each customer who subscribes with your code during their first 12 months. It is calculated on the price of the base subscription actually paid, excluding taxes and after discount: top-ups and add-ons do not earn commission.

An active paying customer is a customer who subscribed with your code and currently pays for a subscription. A higher rate applies to the payments that follow the moment you reach it. Everyone starts at 20%.

Illustrations only, calculated on the full plan price excluding taxes (the first month is paid at 20% off, so your commission on that month is a little lower), while the customers stay subscribed during their first 12 months. Nothing is guaranteed: results depend on you and your audience.

Who can join?
The programme is open to everyone, but not every creator is selected. It is mainly for people whose audience includes independents, tradespeople, freelancers or small business owners: YouTubers, Instagram, TikTok or LinkedIn creators, podcasters, newsletter and blog authors. There is no minimum audience: a small audience that is exactly the right one can bring more customers than a large generic one.
What exactly do I earn?
A percentage of every payment made by each customer who subscribes with your code, for 12 months from their first payment: 20% from your first customer, 25% from 50 active paying customers and 30% from 100. It is calculated on the price of the base subscription the customer actually pays, excluding taxes and after discount. Top-ups and add-ons do not earn commission. If a customer stops or is refunded, the commission stops or is adjusted.
How and when am I paid?
Commissions are checked by hand, then paid once a month, by bank transfer or PayPal. A payment becomes payable after about 30 days, the time needed for a possible refund, and once your balance reaches £50. Below that amount it carries over to the following month. You are responsible for your own taxes and declarations.
What if I publish before Edwin goes online?
Publishing videos about Edwin before it goes online gives you extra points towards being selected for the programme. There is no numeric threshold for now. Everyone starts at 20% commission. The newsletter explains how to send us your content so we can confirm it. Some selected creators may also be invited to try Edwin ahead of everyone else.
How do my fans get their discount?
They get 20% off their first month by entering your personal code when they subscribe. The discount and the attribution work with the code only.
When is my code activated?
Your code is activated as soon as your first publication about Edwin is validated. Until then, it is not accepted when someone subscribes.
Can I use my own code?
No. A subscription taken out for yourself or for a relative with your own code is refused and counts as fraud: no commission is due and the code may be deactivated.
What can I say before Edwin goes online?
You can present what Edwin does, why you find it useful, and invite people to join the waitlist and enter your code. The newsletter gives you the key messages and the points to avoid, such as promising dates or results.
How much can I make?
We cannot promise any amount: it depends on your audience and on how many people subscribe. What we guarantee is the rate and the duration, as set out in the programme terms you receive in the newsletter.
What happens if the rules are broken?
We review every account, and content with hate, violence or adult (18+) material is not allowed. If the rules are broken, we may end the agreement at any time and suspend the commissions that follow. In case of fraud, including a subscription taken out for yourself or a relative, no commission is due and all commissions stop. The agreement sets out the details.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Joining the creator list does not cost anything and does not commit you to anything.
